1. American Football

American Football is very popular sport across America, it is also called gridiron or football and it’s played between two teams on a rectangular field.

Each team has 11 players, and each player has different positions.

There are many variations of how to play this game including tackle football, flag football, and touch football.

2. Baseball

One of the most popular sports in America, Baseball is a bat-and-ball game played on a diamond that is divided into four, nine-inning innings.

Baseball has a rich history in this country and, at its peak during the 1920s, more than 25% of all professional players were African American.

The sport remains one of the most popular among kids and adults alike because it’s easy to understand, requires no special equipment

other than a glove and bat, and can be played virtually anywhere.


3. Basketball

Rules vary from country to country but most games require that players stay within designated areas on the court and cannot leave for any reason.

The game is played by two teams with five players each, where there are three baskets, or hoops (basket-ball).

The team has to work together in order to score more points than the other team and if they do then they win.

The United States Soccer Federation (USSF), commonly referred to as U.S. Soccer, is a non-profit organization and the official governing body of soccer in the United States.

The federation was founded as the U.S. Football Association on October 21, 1913 and became affiliated with FIFA and CONCACAF in 1914.


5. Ice Hockey

Hockey is a sport played on ice by two teams with six players each. It is a fast-paced, physical sport that requires great skill and precision to play.

The object of the game is to score more goals than your opponent. The game is divided into three periods which are 20 minutes long and it lasts 60 minutes total.

Tennis is a Popular Sport in America and many American tennis players have dominated the sport such as Pete Sampras and Andre Agassi.

American boxers have dominated the sport of boxing throughout its history.

Mixed martial arts is also a popular sport and takes a lot of coordination, strength, speed, and stamina.

MMA is one of the fastest growing sports in America. It’s especially popular among people who are new to the sport because it’s one that doesn’t have any specialization.
